Human rights are natural
About this event: Oxfam International Youth Parliament 2004 - Better Leaders For A Better World
Related to country: Vanuatu

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Human right is what we are born with, no one should ever take that away from us, Human right shouldn't be an issue in our societies.
It should be like an openly practiced and freely used within every human kind in all places around the world.
"We should all be treated equally excluding race, sex, ethnics, and etc...." We should all be like an innocent child enjoying life to its fullest potential knot knowing Human rights exist" Thats what we should be like,
Human right should be there but we shouldn't regard it as an issue, such a shame its an issue and affecting some of us.

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Hi all.
i just want to basically share this with you all regarding Tourism,

What do you all think of Toursim ? Is it a good thing?
I quiet Like Tourism, however coming from a country where Tourism is a major industry, i seem to be disliking the idea the fact that, lot is focus is on the positive side of it and not much or nothing has been done to address the negative sides of it.....which is the sades thing for my people....it changes the mentality of people which contributes to other related issues, such as urban drift, violence, crime, breaking's and all

Please share with me what you think

Warm Regards

Marijuana a big Problem in Vanuatu

The marijuana is already a big problem in Vanuatu.

Last week the Police officers went into one of the local remote community of South Malekula in the Malampa Province and root out more than 100 stem of the plans.

We need to stop these Marijuana Practises before it damage and ruin young peoples future cariers and life within the country.

Vanuatu Land Summit
Related to country: Vanuatu

The whole of last week back here in Vanuatu was the Land Summit that goes on the whole week long.
I really liked it the fact that, i beleive plenty of people at that time learn alot about the land and related issues. the summit went bretty well as theere are multible speaker who cam and spoke at that time too.

Land issues is becoming quiet seriou in Vanuatu at this time and i personally think such events can help people to better understand such issues and act positivly towards our valuable ressources.

The summit also enable not only young people but also range of all ages to come and listern. topics were raised and questions were also answered by the organisaer to the public

Some people flew from outer islands of Vanuatu to attend the event also which i think was really kewl too.

I would just like to thanks the 'Vanuatu Cultural Centre' to initiate such and inspring event and i beleive will impact upon the next coming generations.

International Christian Medical & Dental Association Congress
Related to country: Australia

I recently attended a conference for Christians in the Medical profession in Sydney, Australia and it was truly an experience.

We had medical students and Junior Graduates from about 58 Countries from around the world who attended.

The main theme for the conference is "Health and Hope" and it was a time of inspiration and motivation by some of the world's top notch doctors. They spoke on how, as medical officers, we can be the "salt & light" to a dying world - not only attending to their physical illnesses but also to their spiritual illnesses.

One question asked was the motivation behind you being in the medical field. The answer was found in the Bible: " The love of Christ compels us.."

I would encourage any medical students or junior graduates or even medical officers out there to get networked and connected to Christian medical officers around the world and learn from each other's experiences.

"We treat the patient, but Christ brings the Healing"

God Bless

Vanuatu National Youth Council.
Related to country: Vanuatu

Hello everyone out there

I am just curious about the VNYC

There should be a strong Youth Council body that overlooks the youth activities back within the country,Internally and externally.
As a Ni-Vanuatu i think that, We Vanuatu young people should come to gether and work together in every aspects of our works.

There should be a strong Youth council here to overlook and direct the nation Youth activities.

Please lets all joinem hand together and work together to achieve what we are all aiming for in Life

"Think Globally and act Locally"

Regards

AIDS: My brothers story

Coming for a developing country, the uprising of HIV and AIDS is a problem. After reading the book about a man who finds himself stuck between his family and brother who is HIV +, and how he overcame all the stigma and discrimination.... it makes me wonder how life is so easy and gets complicated if we let it to be.

Shelfish workmates

I have alot of this where i work. My work mates are either selfish or greedy in terms of knowledge.
Does this happen everywhere..? I mean, i'm not the type of person who would be greedy with my knowledge. I love helping people and making sure they are happy with what i have given them, even if its small. There are times when it seems as if i do not exist in the workplace.
